Blog: Read entire Blog and linked articles.  Bring ideas for how to improve our experience using it as a classroom tool.
 
Twitter: Re-Tweet at least two stories worth including in our course digest.
Blog: Post one assignment to the blog on behalf of your group.
Timeline: Contribute to posts for three key dates on our class timeline.
 
Blog Post: Read and comment on at least four posts by other class members.
 
Blog: Post the rest of the key articles you read for the Web Research project.  At least five posts.
 
Blog:  Post one of the key resources from the Web Research assignment to the blog blogs.nd.edu/newireland.  If you are new to the weblog, http://blogs.nd.edu/getting-started/ might be a helpful place to begin.

All posts should highlight:
  • Title
  • 1-2 Sentence Summary
  • Image (as appropriate)
  • Tags
  • Date
  • Source notes: legitimate?

Web Research: Spend 90 minutes researching the very basic, very broad question “What is going on in Ireland right now?”  Collect a list of the URLs of key resources in a document on docs.google.com and invite the instructor ([email protected]) to view the file.

Imaging Irish: Take the slideshow file that collects class images and put the images into an order.
 
Word Cloud: Copy and paste the words from your association intowordle.net. Save the image.
 
Word Association: Spend five minutes writing words you associate with the term "Irish" in a text file. Email Instructor the document.

Images: Find three high resolution images that connect to the term “Irish” as you understand it.
